Guatemalan entrepreneur with 9+ years of experience working in technology startups in Latin America. With extensive experience in financial management of companies he leads the administrative and financial area of Osmo. Faithful believer in efficiency and practicality he is involved in different areas such as strategy, business development and human resource management among others.

JUAN FONSECA - vp osmo private

Bitcoin expert since 2021, he was Director of Business Development at Galoy Money, a pioneer in Bitcoin banking infrastructure. He then led Strategy and Operations at Swan Bitcoin, a leading financial services company focused exclusively on Bitcoin. Prior to his dedication to Bitcoin adoption, he had a successful career in traditional financial services, holding management positions in one of the most important banking groups in Central America.

JOSE ALVARADO - cHIEF OF STAFF

Dynamic and results-oriented professional with more than four years of experience in leadership, management and sales. He currently serves as Chief of Staff, where he optimizes operations and drives strategic initiatives. Previously worked as an Account Manager in Technology and Communications, significantly improving customer relationships and sales performance. His experience has provided him with a solid foundation in business strategy and customer success. He has demonstrated his ability to lead teams, manage complex projects and deliver outstanding results in high-pressure environments.

Joaquín Fernández - BUSINESS DEVELOPER

Graduated in Business Administration with specialization in Finance from UFM. He has worked in real estate development in the financial area and has been involved in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in different ways. He has given university classes on business models and entrepreneurship. He also had the opportunity to give a TEDx talk to continue sharing what he knows with the world. Currently, he works as Business Developer PTM at Osmo, where he grows personally and together with the company every day.

JOSÉ MELGAR - HEAD OF MARKETING

She serves as Head of Communication and Marketing, bringing more than four years of experience in various marketing areas. In his role, he leads the coordination of internal and external communication, develops strategic communication and expansion alliances for OSMO's growth. His efforts and skills position him as a key player in fulfilling OSMO's mission of democratizing access to financial services throughout the region.
